Michael Byrd Investigations, Inc. was formed in 1997 to provide litigation support and research services to law firms, insurance companies, corporations and individuals. Our goal is to provide a professional, discreet and cost effective work product that meets and exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Michael E. Byrd, CPP, founder of MBI is a certified Crime Prevention Practitioner by the State of Florida. He served three years as a police officer with the City of Pearl Police Department, Pearl, Mississippi before leaving to serve fifteen years with the City of Homestead Police Department in Dade County, Florida. During his tenure with the City of Homestead our founder successfully completed training and holds certifications in the fields of Residential Security, Business Security and Program Development for Crime Prevention. He also served as the Unit Commander for the Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit where he spent countless hours conducting and coordinating covert surveillance.

It has been our practice at MBI to work closely with the client. All our clients are asked to do is complete one of the Surveillance Request Forms. We will conduct the background investigation and contact them if additional information is required. This allows our clients to move on to other important issues in their business day. MBI keeps its clients abreast of developments in the investigation and allows the client to make the decisions. We believe, huge investigation costs are not the answer to the client's problem and when the invoice is delivered, "The Best Surprise Is NO Surprise."
